Map of Administrative Division of the Czech Republic 1:500,000

Czech Republic – Administrative Division Map 1:500 000 (MSR 500) captures the entire territory of the Czech Republic on one map sheet, i.e. an area of 78 886 km². The paper dimensions are 105 × 68.5 cm and the map field dimensions are 99 × 62.5 cm. The map contains boundaries, selected settlements, descriptions, colour fills of regions and administrative districts of municipalities with extended competence, and a map legend. The boundaries are distinguished as state, regional, district, boundaries of districts of the capital city of Prague, administrative districts of the capital city of Prague, administrative districts of municipalities with extended competence, boundaries of statutory cities, cities and municipalities. The description includes official names of settlements with a population of more than 1 000 inhabitants, names of municipalities with extended competence and municipalities with an authorised municipal office, names of districts, a list of regions, the name and scale of the map with imprint data, graphic scale data and the text of the map legend. The territories of individual regions are distinguished by colour fills; administrative districts of municipalities with extended competence are distinguished by shades of the colour of the relevant region. The content of the map is shown only within the territory of the Czech Republic. The map is supplemented by administrative division maps of the capital city of Prague and statutory cities at a scale of 1:200 000, supplemented by lists of town districts and administrative districts. The map content is based on the Administrative Division Map of the Czech Republic 1:200 000.
